Firefox and CCleaner Bug?

I have a 64Bit, Windows7 Home Premium, SP1, machine, with 2 accounts, my wife and me.

I uninstalled Firefox on my account via CC. When I open CC now, in the app tab, Firefox is no longer listed.

Since I do the maintenance on the machine for both of us, I opened CC to do a regular cleaning on my wife's account and I noticed that Firefox is still listed in the app tab.

After doing a search for any Firefox presence on her account, I found nothing. Yet CC is still showing Firefox, in her account, in the app tab inside CC.

This is occurring on the latest version of CCleaner, v4.14.4707

Bug? Curiosity? Any thoughts?

Thanks for any input.

Make sure that %AppData%\Mozilla and %LocalAppData%\Mozilla folders and all their sub folders have been removed from your wife's account

Winapp,

Thanks...sorry it took so long for me to get back here. Question: Why wouldn't CC remove those FF folders if I did the uninstall through CC?

It's not a bug in CCleaner, so I'll move this out of the Bug Reporting area.

CCleaner merely runs the uninstaller provided by the software when uninstalling, nothing more. Also Firefox and most modern browsers will usually have a tickbox that allows you to remove your profiles during uninstall thus providing a more thorough uninstall -- but as always there's still crumbs leftover on the hard disk and in the registry.
