There is a small utility from NirSoft called LastActivityView. It basically just shows a list of activities performed on the PC, such as opening files and folders. Previously, as I recall it, when I did a clean up with CCleaner, all traces of File Explorer activity would no longer show up in LastActivityView. However, ever since upgrading to Windows 10, even after cleaning up, LastActivityView still shows the folders that I have accessed. I have tried selecting all options in CCleaner, but the "View Folder in Explorer" entries are not removed. I have observed this on two PCs.
