Updated early to add more devices, my android won’t forget the previous version and I cannot find how to enter the new license key
It’s all to do with Google licencing, and just who you bought your CCleaner Android from.
A CCleaner Android (only) licence that was purchased from the Play Store is linked to the Google account where it was purchased. It does not have a licence key to enter.
It is managed by Google.
It is valid, and automatically activated, for all Android devices that are logged into that same Google account.
A multi-device CCleaner licence that you purchase direct from CCleaner is linked to your CCleaner account. It has a licecne key and is activated by entering that key.
it is managed by CCleaner.
It can’t be activated on an Android device that is already activated by being logged into a subscribed Goofle account until the Google licence/subscription is cancelled and expires. (see below). There is nowhere to enter a key in a CCleaner Android that has already been purchased from the play store,
The multi-device key will of course be usable on PC and Mac devices and it can also be activated for CCleaner on an Android device that is logged into a different Google account (that doesn’t already have a Play Store bought activation).
So I believe that in a case like yours you need to cancel the Google subscription and allow it to expire, at which time you can then reactivate CCleaner on your Android device using the multi-device key that you have purchased from CCleaner.
For how to cancel a Play Store subscription see:
What happens after you cancel
When you cancel a subscription you’ll still be able to use your subscription for the time that you’ve already paid.
For example, if you buy a one-year subscription on 1 January for £10 and decide to cancel your subscription on 1 July:
You’ll have access to the subscription until 31 December.
You won’t be charged another yearly subscription of £10 the following 1 January .
