I am sorry if this was reported before, but I am more and more annoyed by the fact that every run of CCleaner takes almost 10(!) minutes to complete. This is going on for a while now, so that's why I am reporting it.
Earlier versions didn't have this problem (long time ago) but now, it looks like it just takes longer and longer every time I use CCleaner.
However, If I remove the cache from within the browser itself, it only takes a few seconds! CCleaner however takes more than 8 minutes to do the same thing...
I have a screenshot here from my last run. You can see It took more than 10 minutes to complete:
I am using Windows 7 64bit and CCleaner version v3.18.1707.
Palemoon is not portable, just a standard installation. I haven't tried to reïnstall ccleaner (I do update it on every new version), but this problem also exists on my laptop (same version of windows and CCleaner)
I will change my language to English, but It will take a while till I gathered enaugh cache to try the cleaning again
Edit: I have changed CCleaner language to English on my laptop. I just did a cleaning run and it took about 30 seconds to clean 1442 cache files (35 seconds in total), which is nowhere near to the amount of cache files on my desktop..
But, since It took 30 seconds to clean 1400 cache files you can calculate how long it would take to clean 56000 cache files. I would say the problem exists on both systems.
