Every time I run CCleaner it sends out information. Where is it going and who is looking at my deleted files?

I noticed that everytime I run CCleaner several packets of data flows out of my machine. I am curious if my deleted files are being sent out and who would be looking at this data? Or, is it CCleaner collecting this data?

In ccleaner options -settings try unticking automatically check for updates.

As hazel said, it is probably just CCleaner sending its version ID to the piriform server to check for updates.

Put your foil hats on.

CCleaner makes no incomming nor outgoing connections past the initial (as already mentioned) update check. These

several packets of data flows out of my machine
are most likely not ccleaner

to what ip is the packet going?
