When I start the speccy I see an exaggerated consumption of RAM, I have 16gb of RAM and it is fully occupied by speccy.

I can't get the information and the system crashes with 99% of the ram occupied by speccy

Your screenshot seems to show Speccy using just under 9 MB of RAM.

That is only 0.05% of your 16 GB.

Can you give more details of your problem?

Su captura de pantalla parece mostrar a Speccy usando poco menos de 9 MB de RAM.

Eso es solo el 0.05% de sus 16 GB.

¿Puede darnos más detalles sobre su problema?

@nukecad

No, the amount of memory occupied/used by SPECCY is NOT ~ 9 MB but it's ~ 9 GB !!!! That's about 55% of the 16 GB of memory. The problem here is the difference between how people in England (& the US) and continental Europe write down their numbers. In England + the US people write down "8,954.4" whereas people in continental Europe write "8.954,4". In the US & England people use a "Decimal Point" but in continental Europe people use a "Decimal Comma". And Spain (at I assume "DeathSong" lives in Spain) is in continental Europe.

@DeathSong

I assume that 12% is the amount of CPU that is being used ? The high amount of memory used in combination with high CPU means that there is conflict between SPECCY and some other program. Open Windows' Resource Monitor (Memory tab) and the run SPECCY to see how the different parts of the memory behave. Or run the program RAMMAP to see if there is any odd behaviour going on. (Did you turn off the pagefile ?).

@DeathSong

Download & run Tweaking's windows Repair . It can fix A LOT OF problems in Windows.

Download & install the program. Disable your antivirus program and run the program. Follow the instructions provided by the program.

Note while the above looks spammy it's not; tweaking's and willy are known entities on this board

Jfyi ?
