Error in Ccleaner

Hi Guys

Hello to everyone as this is my first post on the forum.

When i run Ccleaner it firstly does the analyse then cleans up but it get half

way then i get the following error message.

(0X4000015) occurred in the application at location (0x00494b76.

Can anyone help me with this problem and help me to resolve thanks.

I have the latest Ccleaner 4.16 and I'm running Windows XP.

Norton Internet Security, Superantispyware,Malwarebytes Anti-malware

Are you running the free version or paid/trial version of malwarebytes?

If you boot into Windows Safe Mode and then run ccleaner, does it complete?

Hi hazenut

Thanks for your help but i forgot to mention another security program i have on my

computer, which is Baidu Security/PC Faster which also have's it's own cleaning

program which i only just started using, and i think it was in conflict with CCleaner.

With this in mind i have completely removed Baidu Security/PC Faster and all it's

files and folder's then ran CCleaner again and this time no errors appeared.

So i should be able to run CCleaner as i have for years without further errror's.

Good to hear you are able to use CCleaner and run it to completion again :)
