I've no idea what this means, I just ran CC as normal and it threw this up, does anyone have any idea please

Although I posted this sometime ago , my problem still occurs 100 % with the same message as above, I can't use the Reg cleaner part of CC. Currently I'm using CC v3.23 .1823
Thanks for the link Alan ,it actually did not solve anything for me , I am a moderate windows user , so exploring kernel issues is out of my league ,

I seemed to of resolved this myself sort of .
By unchecking Unused File Extensions from the registry scan I get no errors.

If kernel issues are out of your league,
then an accident with a registry cleaner may leave you floundering out of your depth.
Perhaps you should leave the registry cleaner alone.
I never clean the registry unless I have a special reason,
such as checking whether all traces of an application were removed when it was uninstalled.
