i just upgraded to CCleaner Pro and started to clean up some issues. I ran the Driver Updater to get everything current. I never received an error message like I did when I started the computer today. When I started the computer none of the attached Bluetooth devices were working. I started troubleshooting from the Windows side because of prior issues there. Nothing worked there and their support told me I had to contact the manufacture, Lenovo, to get further support. After 2+ hours working with them still nothing is working. So during the 2 hours with Lenovo Support I started researching online. I found an article on Bluetooth recovery. It stated that if you are having issues with Bluetooth drivers to simply turn on “Airplane” mode reboot the device and turn off “Airplane” mode and reboot again. It worked for my issue.
Thanks for sharing what worked to get your Bluetooth working again.
Remember that most driver updaters recommendations are simply the ‘newest’ version of that driver - but it may not be intended for your particular machine at all, and if you update to one that isn’t meant for your machine then it may stop working.
I don’t normally update any drivers unless I’m having a problem with one - if it isn’t broken then don’t try to fix it.
PS. As you have a Lenovo then ‘Lenovo Vantage’ will do a better job of updating any drivers that need updating, and as it’s from Lenovo then it knows if a new driver version is suitable for your particular model of Lenovo computer.
