Error connecting to publishing server

File >Publish Snapshot > " Error connecting to publishing server "

If anyone can assist it'd be greatly appreciated.

I have reported this to admin and as far as I know it is being looked into.

Could you get them to throw down the fix on here when they find it ^_^ , thanks <3

It's server issues I believe.

So when i publish my snapshots it now gives me a link but the link doesn't work??

Hi All,

We're having intermittent issues with the hosting platform used for the Speccy snapshots. The fix we are having to implement involves migrating the hosting to an entirely new platform. The new platform should be up and running within the next few days, please bear with us whilst we work to resolve this.

Thanks

Is there an update here. It is still not working.

I'll bump this as I just bought pro version and it's (still) not working.

I encountered this same problem today (15-Jun-2019). I haven't tried to publish a Speccy profile since 14-Mar-2019 so I don't know if it's a temporary glitch or if the server has been down since Killermaco reported this problem in early May 2019.

It's been up and down ... mainly down. As at the time of writing this I can see @Killermaco's system specs loading nicely (see screenshot below), but your mileage will vary depending on the time of day. Capacity issues. Despite our sentimental attachment to that rusting piece of iron, we need to shell out some cash and get ourselves a new server.

I am pleased to announce that the shiny new Speccy server is now finally operational! Uploading and retrieving specs should now be considerably faster and more reliable (ie: it should work the first time rather than requiring a half dozen retries). All of the old specs were migrated a few hours ago so it should be all systems go from here - but let us know if there are any further problems with the hosting server.

ok thx for the update Dave!

Hi Dave CCleaner:

Thanks for the status update. I was able to publish a system snapshot to the new server this morning, and the URLs for my older snapshots (httx://speccy.piriform.com/results/ ...) seem to be working as well.

Excellent! So that's a couple of long-standing user concerns taken care of - now back to working through the rest of the list.
