So recently, I did a little research on the Windows built in Cleanup utility because I always wondered why Microsoft doesn't make it clean more on your system. Then I found an article on the internet that apparently lets you unlock even more advanced options for it, but there is no easy way to do it and requires you to consulate with the command line. Who knows, maybe disk cleanup actually cleans something that CCleaner doesn't and then we can add it to CCleaner (or Winapp2).
after you save your choices with the /sageset:n switch, instead of running them as sagerun:n where it'll do them all regardless, you can use /tuneup:n and can make on-the-fly changes to your preset list.
I also found a site years ago that showed you how to add entries to the Registry to add your own custom folders to the CLEANMGR list, but can't seem to locate it now having just done a quick Google search.
Years ago I removed the Temporary Files cleaner from within Disk Cleanup which is known on XP to go too far, I've seen it on multiple XP PCs where it can mess up Windows and once it forced me to reinstall XP.

The folks that have bought the PRO version of Tweaking's Windows Repair have the ability to add more locations to be cleaned by the build-in "Disk Clean Up" tool.

I know what you are talking about, but can't seem to find anything on it, either, or maybe we are thinking of something else.
So I decided to test this out, but I noticed nothing happened when I try to clean something with disk cleaner and using Cleanermgr /sageset:1. I can see all the extra cleaners, but none of them show me the size of clutter there is nor does it show a pop-up that shows Disk Cleanup is cleaning stuff, which it usually does. Is it just suppose to be working in the background or did I do something wrong?
just in case you weren't aware, you have to do the /sageset:1 first, tick the things you want (yes it doesn't show how much space will be saved) and hit OK.
that simply saves your settings in 'slot 1' of the required registry key.

and you could run cleanmgr c: /sagerun:1 on end of months and /sagerun:2 on weekends, that sort of stuff.

Ah alright. That would explain all the 1-255 integers mean.
but cleanmgr does cover a couple of areas I haven't managed to INCLUDE into CC and cleanmgr does a much faster job of removing windows.old, $windows.~bt and $windows.~ws
