when sending a cookie from left to right (from 'cookies to delete' to 'cookies to keep'), we 'lose our place' in the 'cookies to delete' list on the left.
i.e., say there are a hundred cookies on the left. i scroll down to cookie #20 and move it to the right, the list on the left is 'empty' and i have to start over, scolling back down. i scroll down to #35, move it to the right and then have to find my place again by scrolling down to #36; to 75; to 92... and so on.
after a while of this it gets pretty tiresome trying to find the spot where i left off. so, it would be really great if, after moving an item from left to right, the list on the left could be pre-selected at, say, 'ItemMoved +1'. it would save a lot of time.
I was about to start a new thread on the same topic before I saw this, so I'll just a "+1" vote here instead.
Like wazz4444 says, it would be helpful if the cookie lists would "remember their spot" when moving items right<->left, rather than bouncing back to the very top of both lists any time an item is moved. I appreciate that you can shift- or ctrl-click to select multiple items and move them all at once, but that tends to become a bit clumsy if you're dealing with several pages of cookies. (I actually had to clean up a PC recently that had a couple of hundred pages -- about 6500 cookies! -- so having to scroll back down the cookie list each time I moved a selected "batch" became a bit laborious.)
Just a minor suggestion though, not a critical request.
I've never had that long a list of cookies so I don't know if this will make a difference, but what happens if you drag and drop cookies from left to right?
It is difficult because you are all doing it all wrong ! !

Hold down the Ctrl key whilst you select cookie #20
DO NOT MOVE IT TO THE RIGHT
Repeat above for keys #35, #36, etc.
When you have chosen what you wish to move, ONLY THEN click the MOVE button,
and all your choices will move, even if many of them are scattered above or below the section on display.

Your problem is you are doing it one page at a time - you do not have to.
I had zero cookies to keep, and 5 screen pages to save.
I selected the top cookie and then scrolled to the bottom of the bottom page,
then I held down Shift as I clicked on the bottom most cookie and all cookies were selected,
then Move left and they all jumped across in a fraction of a second - leaving zero cookies to keep.
I repeated the exercise in reverse and everything is back in the cookie to keep list.

Many thanks for the info Alan. It seems a shame that this info is NOT available to the beginner user. Obviously when you have a list of cookies to keep and put them in the DO NOT DELETE pane they stay there for the next time so you can just delete all the cooies in the knowledge that all the ones you want to keep will be kept.
