After running duplicate finder a list of the file extension type is displayed only for duplicates.
There is then the option to re-run duplicate finder a second time, including or excluding selected file extension types.
I'm not sure what you are meaning there?
It may be that you have not specified which type of file to look for? (Documents, photos, videos, etc.)
Different types of file have different extensions.
