Over time I have ported a folder/subfolders from my desktop to my laptop several times, so I now have Folder 1, Folder 2, Folder 3 and Folder 4 on the laptop which should be 99% the same. Running the Duplicate File Folder with with different options, even just checking the Name results in hundreds of duplicate being found in Folders 1 -3 but only an occasional file being found in Folder 4. I can locate the files manually and see that the Name, byte size and Modified date match. the creation and Accessed date may be different. Since it occassional has files from Folder 4 I know its not a path problem.
