Hi. I have recently downloaded CCleaner to help delete files on my laptop. I've now began using the Drive Wiper and I have noticed that my Hard Drive space has decreased steadily ever since I started Drive Wiper. I canceled Drive Wiper and my 40gigs of space came back. I'm just wondering, is this Drive Wiper safe? Because it's using up my disk space and Windows keeps telling me that I'm running out of space and I don't want any problems occurring.
It's the way that Drive Wiper works. The disk is filled with "dummy" files which are then deleted, thus all the free space on the drive is overwritten. Just let Drive Wiper finish and all will be well.
