Finally decided to buy the Pro edition of CCleaner, installed it but for some reason, my computer keeps going back to a version two ages ago. I cleaned with the newest version and it deleted 4 of my programs like Open Office, YouTube Downloader, Irfanview, and one other. Now I cannot reinstall them. Keeps saying the installation path is invalid. Can someone help me???
what version of CC did you install?
what is your OS?
did you run the registry cleaner of CC?
do you run CC with the winapp2.ini file or any other enhancement?
can you attach a screenshot of the invalid path error message.
have you reboot the PC?
what about trying to install those lost programs from Safe Mode.

I re-installed what programs I could however, it was a shock to see this program deleting those programs. I upgraded from 5.24 to 5.26.
You say you cleaned the registry. Did you make a backup of it when asked to do so?
Ccleaner cannot delete programs just by running the cleaner section.
Did you have those programs installed in a non-standard location?
Latest version is 5.27.
