double updating continues, find programs that i dont have also?

Double updating continues, that have been long time? Why you dont see that problem to users?

I know anyway myself to skip , but many may be confused.

Program starts 2 times cc-cleaner open, after update.

Then cc-cleaner says i could put to sleep microsoft onedrive and lenovo vantage, but i dont even

have those programs? Maybe there is something left of them, but they are uninstalled, not seen in programs list.

You should develop that, to check if are real programs or some old information??

my cc-cleaner also shows onedrive available to sleep, but i dont have onedrive either

One drive is built into Windows, every Windows computer has it (apart from old Windows versions).

You can turn it off, unlink/unsync it, even uninstall it - but parts of the code are still there in Windows (in case you ever want to put it back).

Lenovo Vantage is a settings interface for Lenovo computers and will (almost certainly) have been 'bundled' with the computer from new.

It will be launching itself on startup, which will be why CCleaner is recommending that you put it to sleep.

Again if you never use it you can uninstall it, but you might want to know what it is/does first:

As for the double updater and 'Write Error' thing, yes it's still happening if you manually update from within CCleaner.

If you get the Write Error it can be safely ignored (just click any one of the 3 options), CCleaner is installed anyway.

(That's because there are 2 identical installers running).

Apparently it's proving tricky for them to resolve without causing more serious problems elsewhere.

It has become more noticible, and is being seen more often these days, because it is more prone to cause the 'Write Error' message if you have a SSD.

That's simply because writing to SSDs is faster than writing to HDDs, so it's more likely that both installers will try to write the same thing at the same time.

Hi @user20182019 Concerning the double update issue, I'm glad to say this will no longer occur when we release v6.05 of CCleaner next month.

However if you do encounter the issue again when we release our next update, please let us know as we'd be eager to investigate further.
