I’ve just been charged for a license renewal, even though I still have an active license. How is this possible? How can I get a refund?
How long was left on your existing licence?
They process subscription renewals about a month in advance of the old one expiring.
The time remaining doesn’t get lost, you start a new 12-months once the current 12 months expires.
I’m guessing that may be what you are seeing?
However it is possible to have purchased more than one subscription and have them running side-by-side.
Particularly if you have used different email addresses for each purchase.
You can use these lookup tools to see if you have more than one subscription assigned to one email address, or if you have purchased from more that one email address.
In each case you have to enter an email address, and it will tell you any licence(s) and subscription(s) that has/have that address registered:
