does not see anything about my system

I am trying to see the information about me my system so i may get the proper drivers for each of my system components as this is a custum built system with out supplyed drivers

where does speccy get the system information?

That's all speccy shows, I think I'm not understanding the question.

without access to the code or comments from the Dev Team, I'd guess Speccy simply interrogates the Description or Properties or what-have-you fields from the firmware in question and just shows you what it finds.

at less than 4MB is size, there can't be much internally processes going on.

all your integrated drivers will be found on the motherboard manufacturers website download/support page.

any add-on cards, like video and sound, will have to be sourced from those vendors websites.

you shouldn't need Speccy to tell you what it finds (and maybe give you false info), just note the motherboard make/model and search for that on the appropriate website.

so where is this Description or properties file so i can restor so speccy WILL see it corectly?

I think you misunderstood. There is no description or property file. Speccy queries the Windows Management Interface service. The service, built into the operating system, allows hardware to announce status and other information to the software OS and the user. What exactly information are you trying to get? For example on my PC I can click on motherboard and see the Brand, Model and Version of my laptop.

perhaps you can provide us with a shot of what you mean shows nothing.

here's another with my graphics card (which would allow me to find the driver for that).

are you trying to find information on devices that aren't correctly detected by windows (show-up as unknown?)?
