Does Cleaner uninstall tool remove all traces of the program ?

I am using CCleaner v5.06.5219 (64bit) on my Windows 8.1 Pro notebook pc, & would like to know whether CCleaner's "uninstall" tool will remove ALL TRACES of a software/program (USB Safely Remove - trial version 5.3.5.1228) that I might want to uninstall.

I do not want to have to download another uninstall utility to do it, if CCleaner will do thorough job of the uninstall.

Thank you very much for any answers you can provide.

You are using an outdated version of Ccleaner by the way.

Latest version is here

The uninstall tool in Ccleaner triggers the uninstaller of the program you are trying to uninstall.

So if USB Safely Remove does not uninstall correctly it is because its uninstaller may be badly written.

If it is a trial version there may be a hidden reg or hard drive entry that will be set on your machine that will show that you have already used the trial.

This is to stop people re-using trial versions.

Hazelnut - Thank you very much for your quick response.

The trouble is, even if there is isn't a hidden registry or hard drive entry, I still would not know whether the program's uninstaller has done a thorough job, & for security reasons, I would be more comfortable knowing that everything associated with any program that I have uninstalled, has been completely removed.

Sounds like I should do a 30 day trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro, which hopefully also does a thorough job of uninstalling itself, including hidden hard drive & registry. entries.

Trial programs always leave a trace behind either in the registry or elsewhere to prevent re-use.
