I CC7 upgraded in order to update drivers and programs. Instead CC has gone downhill. I had no choice about which updates. LibreOffice was updated and this corrupted the most important document file on my machine. there were four separate files in a folder; all four were mushed together, with most content destroyed, but now all four have the same - corrupted - content.
I upgraded my subscription in order to update drivers and apps. Used to be able to choose which; instead, CC7 updated everything. It corrupted the most important document on my machine! Four files in one folder were all mushed together, with most of the content eliminated. Now all documents are the same! Any possibility of recovering, or do I just stop using the computer?
honestly it sounds like you went too fast both health check and software updater tool let you decide what to update as does the driver updater and in health check for drivers.
