I have been a user of CCleaner for a fair time now and when I saw an update listed on CNet's Windows Daily Update (Previously known as VersionTracker's Daily Newsletter) I went to download it. I noticed the minor change in name which I thought was strange.
Then the screenshot didn't match.
Then the site of origin, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Did you know these guys are using the CCleaner name? If you did and this is nothing new, I appologize but I couldn't find anything on it by searching the forums.
Thank you for your report. Every so often someone tries to make a program that pulls on the ccleaner name. I'm sure the Devs will look into this immediatly (suprised that Cnet would list it)
I have also rated this site as poor on W(eb)O(f)T(rust) and Mcaffe Siteadvisor.
