Display issue when running cleaner or C7

Hey folks,
I seem to be having an issue with either CCleaner or CC7
The display is just a blank white window from which the only way to close it is via TM.
It doesn’t recover, it doesn’t inform of an error, nothing.
This has only been since the install of the beta for 7
Any ideas for this ?

v7 is (supposedly at least) no longer a Beta, it’s now the ‘Official’ version.

I’m not sure what is happening with that blank window but it’s probably a faulty install, so I’d try reinstalling CCleaner 7.

Go to Windows settings, apps, installed, and click to uninstall CCleaner 7 to see if it gives you a ‘Repair’ option.
If there is no repair option then uninstall it and download a fresh installer from here:

Double-clicking the downloaded installer will install CCleaner 7 Free version; if you have a licence key then go Settings>My Subscription to register/activate it as Pro.

If you are still getting that blank window after reinstalling then come back and we can investigate further.

I’ve done the uninstall and re-install no help I actually did that before coming here as this was a last resort.
I guess I’ll just live without the beta.

Are you running an Antivirus, Firewall, or VPN that may be blocking it from cconnecting to the internet?

Again: CCleaner 7 is no longer a Beta, it is now the official version.

No nothing like that beyond Win native Antivirus.
I actually have it running at the moment but I’m yet to close it and try relaunching.

I thought maybe I could try changing the install location, but it doesn’t give any options for that on install…
I’ve installed and uninstalled a number of times including repair option and nothing works it just doesn’t work anymore.
Nothing as I am aware has changed on my system, so if it doesn’t work anymore, I guess I’ll just have to do without cleaning and end my sub.

If I was you I’d just roll back to v6.39, remember to turn off automatic updating, instructions here:

Whilst normally I would say that you should use the latest version that works on your machine I also believe that you should have the choice to roll back from a major feature update.
