Disk type not recognized correctly

Hello,

My computer has 2 disks, one SSD 256Gb and another HDD 1Tb, but Defraggler recognizes the two partitions of the 1TB disk as if it were SSD. I have not seen a way to force the recognition and also if this can affect the defragmentation process.

I thank you for the link you have given me, but there is no explanation.

sadly, the explanation is, there is none.

the wrong reporting of SSD's as HDD's and HDD's as SSD's is in both CCleaner and Defraggler, has been for many versions, and there is no resolution.

How hard can it be to allow this to be set manually...?

Samsung 970 Evo NVMe M.2 drive is detected as a HDD.

Im worried using your product is going to damage my drive. Such a shame
