disk analyzer

after I click on all the files that are taking up disk space, I click on SELECT ALL,then DELETE SELECTED.....all the check marks disappear & files remain. I can delete them one at a time but that seems ridiculous! What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

far as I know, the disk analyzer in CCleaner is only to view the Occupancy of the volume there and in what proportion the files occupy the disk.
mean you this?

yes, that is what I meant, but I have been able to delete them before. It even states that when you right click beside the file list, that it gives you the option to select all & then delete selected files.

Oh yes, now I've seen it too. Sorry, I have not used up to now much of this feature.

on my test ccleaner is crashed instantly after delete procedure. but my 2 selected files are deleted in one go.

you must take the option "ausgewählte dateien löschen" --> "delete selected files"

i have try it with an example-folder with 37 photos

I did do that. when I click on "delete selected files, the check marks go away & the files remain unmoved

what files do you want to delete?

perhaps are this files protected/in access from windows...

image files miscellaneous files, etc. I will keep searching because I have deleted them all before. I do thank you for your input. May you be Blessed.
