Disconnect external drive after deep scan?

Hi, I have a WD 3TB external hard drive, where my backups were. This drive connects to my laptop via USB bay. Windows reported the drive to be corrupted. I used Recuva's deep scan to find the available files. The scan took over 25 hours and found over 900,000 files. I have tested 3 files - I was able to recover and open them.

I cannot now deal with all 900,000 files, I need to disconnect the external drive and take my laptop elsewhere.

My question is this: What are the consequences of disconnecting the external drive? Will I lose the result of the deep scan and have to re-run it again for 25 hours? Thanks.

You'll need to re-run the scan again if you disconnect the drive.
