I have been a fan of Ccleaner for years and a supporter. Now you are getting to big
for your britches like Firefox and others have done.
You are trying to cram the Google Web Browser down my throat. I use K-meleon and
would like to continue using it. I am in control of my computer and I don't like any company trying to force me to do something I do not wish to do.
I guess I will have to start looking for a replacement for Ccleaner or do it by
hand like I used to do.

You can always download the Slim version which does not have any additional software.
Plus, it does not have the whole Google Chrome browser within, it downloads it IF YOU SELECT THE OPTION TO.
If you still feel this is disappointing, you are free to choose an alternative. Best of luck trying to replace CCleaner.

You have voiced your opinion, and have been advised that there is a slim version without the additional software, also you have been advised that you can untick the browser choice during install.

I tried to get past the Google install and was unable to do it.
Maybe a site bug.

I understand your disappointment, but the program is still free.
Do you feel they don't deserve any income stream?
I tested & it did not seem to install the Google browser if you untick it instead of flying through the install options.
Additionally, you can download a slim or portable version from here: -> http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds
(User above me posted the link as well.)
Slim & portable both do not contain the browser.
I do hope this alleviates your disappointment.

There is no Google Install to get past if you download the slim version.
Instead of which you prefer to waste time with pointless moaning.
