dialog box

Hello! While using my browser Firefox, I will encounter a Windows 7 dialog box to save the web page for offline reading. The default dialog box is humongous in size and I have to resize to its minimum window.

CCleaner removes the preference. The preference in size and location is not stored with the Firefox application. I've tried and excluded Firefox entries to no relief.

In one test, I sized the dialog box, ran CCleaner and excluded the eight entries that appeared, all Firefox. After I clicked "Run Cleaner" on an empty slate and reopened the browser, the dialog box had reverted to its humongous size.

Any idea where this preference resides so I can exclude it?

As a possible further clue, I've noticed the explorer windows also lose their size preferences.

Nothing on the analysis list suggest anything excludable.

Thanks for the link.

Windows Size/Location Cache remains unticked under Advanced heading.

Intuitively, that seems reasonable to leave unticked.

It is reasonable to leave it unticked... but I had to ask, some people tick it and then wonder why their folders settings aren't remembered :)

As for Firefox, hopefully someone will jump in with some ideas as I'm an Opera user.
