I use BT Yahoo and am advised to create a 'seal' - a photo or memorable phrase. I can also have the opportunity of picking the main account name or one of the sub-accounts in the email address box. I have done this but every time I run CCleaner all of this is deleted and I have to re-create the seal and go back into My Account to have the main and sub account names available in the address box. Why is this happening?
that's bad. but with me ive been using [REMOVED BY MODERATION] for 2 years now and its working fine..
onlky this is not the place to suggest software nor does you post have ANYTHING to do with this thread. The Seal is not stored in the registry.
heene, you need to look at what is being deleted and the use the exclude key to stop it from being deleted
it's one of your cookies
I don't see my sign-in seal. Should I be concerned?

?Your cookies were cleared. If you use certain web browsers and you clear your cookies, you will lose your sign-in seal and you will need to re-create it.

I removed that product name and poster! It was a spam to a malware+scam registry cleaner that infects computers, steals identity, etc.

I am surprised that a spammer registered and laid dormant for two weeks before it struck.
Congrats Andavari, that was a nice catch.
Alan.
Yep, sure was good sleuthing.
edit:
Hi, Heene.
I gave up on that Yahoo! sign in seal thing.
I don't keep any cookies, ever, so it wouldn't work.
Just how I do it.
