On browsing history
If firefox is set to “Never remember history”, do i still need to run cclenaer to delete browsing history?

in theory you shouldn't need to but a quick test should prove that, either way.
there are a few factors that may change the results per PC, like AV software, other background tasks, FF add-ons, FF and CC versions..., to name some obvious ones.
run CC, so you start with a clean slate, use Firefox for a while in private mode.
when done, run CC again and see what is found.
