When I select the duplicate files and opt to delete them, they are not deleted. What step I’m i missing.
Have you ticked the ones that you want to delete?
You have to select each one individually, that’s for safety so that you can’t ‘delete all’ and delete the wrong things.
PS. Don’t delete any System File duplicates unless you know what they are and are trying to fix a problem with Windows.
Windows NEEDS duplicate files to work properly, if you delete them it can stop working properly.
You should always have them ticked in “Ignore” section.
