Defraggler Using End of Drive. Will It Clear? Wish to Partition

I wish to partition a drive, and to that end, undertook defragmenting it because Defraggler showed a few sectors being occupied at the end of the drive.

Defraggler has been working about 12 hours now, and rather than moving the data at the back of the drive up to the front with the rest of the data, it has added more data to the back of the drive,

Perhaps it is just using this area for temporary storage as it moves files around. Will it clear this area eventually?

Defraggler is stating it will take more than a day to finish. I prefer not to run it all that time just to be foiled at the end.

I was faced with the same issue, I'm trying to partition my drive and make the first partition smaller than the second (in order to move everything from the first to the second easily); however there was a block used right at the middle of my drive. It's not the reserved MFT block. When I ran the full defrag, it was moving things to the end of the drive, but it did eventually move them back. But it did not move that original used block.
