Defraggler blocks device safe removal

OS: Vista x64 latest updates (SP2 not available for my language)

I can't safe remove USB flashdrive (or HDD) when defraggler is running (even without defragmentation running).. So when defragmentating, I can't unplug flashdrive that I need somewhere else

bump

Vista x64 SP2 (latest updates), latest Defraggler version

still the same issue

mods: please move to defraggler bug reporting forum (my mistake)

Defraggler seems to have a permanent handle open for every available drive in Windows not just the flash drive.

Without the flash drive handle close it cannot be safely removed however you can force close a process handle with software.

I would have recommended Unlocker however I understand it does not support Vista 64 therefore I would suggest using Sysinternals Process Explorer instead - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinte...s/bb896653.aspx

I know what the problem (opened handles) is..

I use USB Safely Remove which can close opened handles but it is quite annoying..

Defraggler should close handles on drives which are not being analysed or defragmented

I agree I see no technical reason why the handle cannot be purged if the drive is not being processed I guess this problem was overlooked by the coders.

Defraggler v1.16.165 x64 - bug still present

Defraggler v1.21.209 x64 - bug still present. Please fix this. If I'm in the middle of defrag of another drive and I need to remove usb drive safely I have to stop the defrag. Latest O&O Defrag is not doing this. Thanks
