Deactivate Autostart in Windows for Version 7.0.984.0

Good afternoon, I’m wondering where I can deactivate the autostart for version 7.0.984.0 Professional in Windows 11?

Hi @RichardHajek,
With CCleaner 7, we made a technical shift: CCleaner now runs as a Windows service instead of a regular startup app. This change supports new features like Performance Optimizer and Software Updater, and helps improve overall stability and performance.
Because it’s running as a background service, it no longer shows up in the startup list you could previously toggle in the UI.
We understand this is a change from how things worked before, and we’re here if you need help adjusting to the new setup.

Because of this, I have just deactivated my subscription. I purchased and used CCleaner to assist with cleaning, and removing unwanted apps from running with my system. Not to add another one. Good luck with your future ventures, I will check back in a year or so, and see if this has been addressed.

Just made a CCleaner account to say this is a load of bs and I’m uninstalling CCleaner after years of using. Way to go in the direction of Microsoft forcing all kinds of stuff nobody asks for and not giving the option to disable it. Truely sad choice.

You can “neuter” ccleaner 7 so it doesn’t run resident - I actually posted a little batch script to do it in another thread. I’m still using ccleaner 6 until it becomes really obsolete..
