I scanned 591 color slides onto a Sandisk memory card, I then accidentally (stupid really) reformatted the memory card and “deleted” (or so I think) and the memory card now says “folder empty”. I tried using Recuva and selected “All Files” and selected “specific location” and then browse and came to the specific drive which says COACH100 (where the .jpg images would have been (had I not reformatted the memory card) so my question is does anybody know if I can still recover these .jpg color slide images , or are they ruly permanently deleted? Recovery from flash memory (like your sd card) is harder (slightly impossible) than a hard drive. The way flash memory treats deletions is different.
