creating a scheduled task - possible with NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM account?

Hi,

I am puzzled, I have created a scheduled task in windows XP to run Ccleaner at a certain time weekly or daily, I have followed all the rules, made sure the /AUTO is present except for the 'run as' part.

Since I want to create a ccleaner.job and then distribute that job to several pc's, I can not use the combo 'myowncomputername/myownusername' (and accompanying password of course), since different pc's have different computernames of course...

I have another scheduled task (which was created by F-Secure) and which has the 'run as' set as NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM and which runs the scheduled task fine

When I use the NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM combo for a ccleaner scheduled task, it does not run, or more correctly, it gets started (I can see the ccleaner.exe in the taskmanager) but it doesn't do anything, just sits there...

so how can I create a scheduled task for ccleaner that can run on any pc, regardless of the username or computername?

many thanks in advance for helping me with this conundrum...

great product by the way

O.

Im pretty sure your going to have to use the comp, user name & password in order for the task to execute.
