Count of total memory slots gives wrong amount

Hi folks at Piriform,

love your tool, but today I got a bit dissapointed: As Speccy stated a total of 4 slots (2 used, 2 free) I bought 2 matching modules, opened the PC and found: only 2 slots, none of them empty. So Speccy detects / states a wrong number of total slots available. If interessed I can provide .speccy file and photos from inside PC by email.

this has come up in the past.

doing a quick search of the forum and found these;

so it's been reported before, ages ago, and the Devs would be aware of it.

obviously not high on the list of undesirable features to fix.
