I am using Vista with Forefox, on the 19/12/08 nine cookies appeared on CC and they refuse to delete, I am totally baffled because nothing I try will remove them. My version of CC is the latest and I have never had a problem before.
Can anyone advise. I have put the cookies in the form of a attachment.
Do you have "Cookies" checked for Internet Explorer on the Windows tab and Firefox "cookies" on the Applications tab?
Some users have discovered after using the newer versions of CCleaner that old "cookies" files are still on their PC from old versions of various browsers. How about Opera or Google Chrome, do you have them checked in your Applications tab. You should if they still appear on the Applications tab.
Do a Search on "Cookies" and see if you can find any.

Hello davey, yes I have 815 and yes all tabs are checked, they always have been, until this particular day I have never had a problem with CC removing cookies, and now suddenly I have this block of 9 cookies that refuse to delete.
I have done a search for cookies and my computor claims I don't have any ??

dodgy.
Hello davey, I did a second search for cookies and this time was directed to a firefox/mozilla/profiles/nexned and there they were, so I deleted the file and ran CC again and this time no cookies
Hello davey, no probs mate, the username is the name of my boat, its good fun though.
Something I should mention is that on the first two searches the cookies did not appear, and only showed themselves on the third seach
Perhaps it might be good for people to do more then one search.
dodgy.
You are correct about the "searching" also. Every now and then I turn on both Windows search indexers to build up-to-date indexes. Other "search" tools I am not sure of but I am sure that there are many. davey
