Conflict?

I have used CCleaner for many years with no problems.

I replaced my HDD, reinstalled XP and basic programs such as Open Office.

Now when running Ccleaner I get a pop up named ?Delete? (in the bar).

The text of the pop up reads:

Recent is a Windows system folder and is required for Windows to run properly. It cannot be deleted.

The only program I added is Windows Search System Tray (v. 7.0.6001.16503 ) from MS. I feel this must be the problem but not sure why. I could be wrong, I usually am.

Is there something that can be done to fix the problem?

If I don't check Recent documents the problem goes away. That is how I am using CCleaner right now and it is not a huge problem.

I would just like to be able to use all the features and Windows Search too.

Unless someone knows of another similar search program that is compatible with CCleaner.

I Uninstalled Windows Search

Uninstalled Spybot Search and Destroy

Uninstalled Windows defender

Uninstalled CCleaner

Running ESET NOD32

I also noticed that even with all these programs uninstalled if I restart my computer my Recent list clears. :(

I have now reinstalled CCleaner.

Still has the problem with pop up.

Going to reinstall the others too.

Not sure what the problem is.
