Can I use the free versions of your programs (CCleaner, Speccy, Defraggler, Recuva) for commercial purposes? (specifically: Configuring the customer at home)
You can find legal notes/licenses of Piriform's products here: http://www.piriform.com/legal
I guess you can use them as you described, just don't sell them etc.
If you are using it and charging for the service I believe it is fine, but it is against to lisence to sell CCleaner/Speccy/Defraggler/Recuva as a product.
this member also asked me this in PM
here is my reply (though I really like Winapp's)
all versions of ccleaner are free. Payment is for direct developer support. There is nothing in the programs' licenses that forbids the use on a customer's computer. However, as a techsupport person myself, I use the portable versions thus not adding a program to my customers' computers unnecessarily.
also they aren't my programs, I'm just a member like you, as moderator I can move threads & stop fights but that's the only difference in the scope of my relationship with this software in comparison with you.
