Hello, you can add divx to CCleaner on you own through a file called winapp2.ini. No one has written a entry for it yet but here are the instructions on how to do it your self.
Thanks, I now think I understand why no one has added DivX Player to winapp2.ini. After searching the registry and my personal settings looking for the place where the DivX Player MRU list is stored I accidently discovered it is contained in some kind of binary.dbf file in the DivX directory in Program Files along with the User preference data. ARRRGH! I can of course delete it with the Options|Custom|Add file feature, but I'll loose all my preferences
If I missed something, please set me straight.
To be honest I never really used the divx player so I don't know where is stores anything. What are you doing with it? Encoding or just watching?
Both encoding and watching, but it is not a big deal. It's not a great player, but it is small and I can run multiple instances at the same time.
Thanks for the help and pointing me to the add-it-yourself ini instructions.
