i'm giving away my laptop and want to remove all data i've created...i don't want to remove the OS and don't care either way about removing apps so long as they don't carry any of my data.
i dont know if you can delete all collected data from you... not 100%
well, 100% isn't important, just want to leave the OS intact and remove everything else.

I find the simpliest way is to just create a new user profile, then log into that one and delete your original one.
since you aren’t 100% scared about data recovery, that’ll do it.
I only asked because if it was Win 10 just do a clean install for the new user.
Settings > Update and Security > Recovery > Reset did the job; surprised it wasn't suggested.
