Cleaning Complete, Details of Files Deleted

I have two computers running CCleaner v5.38.6357.

When I Run Cleaner, on one computer I get 0 deleted and I am finished.

But on second computer, desktop, Win 10, 64 bit, NO matter how many times I Run Cleaner, I get Details of Files Deleted showing Internet Explorer Temp Internet files 5121kb, 1 files, and cookies 1kb.

See attached screenshot.

So I Run Cleaner few more times, get same result. Never 0 deleted like other computer.

Questions??

Is this normal? Any problems? Are any settings wrong?

Thanks in advance

what's the OS on the other PC?

do an Analyse on the Win10 PC and right click each of those IE entries and click View Detailed Results.

post the files shown.

Other PC is a laptop, Win 7.

Here's Detailed results:

Cleaning Complete - (4.115 secs)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5.00 MB removed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Details of files deleted

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Internet Explorer - Temporary Internet Files 5,121 KB 1 files

Internet Explorer - Cookies 1 KB 1 files

System - Temporary Files 1 KB 1 files

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

C:\Users\jeje\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Low\SuggestedSites.dat 5,121 KB

C:\Users\jeje\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCookies\deprecated.cookie 1 KB

C:\Users\jeje\AppData\Local\Temp\wct9D42.tmp 1 KB

from that View Detailed Results list, you can right click an entry and choose Add to Exclude List.

I'd do that for the first two, as you'll always be seeing them. some IE process is recreating them as it discovers they are not there.

the last one you should be able to delete manually by going to the location providing the file is not in use.

but again, if it keeps coming back, add it to the ignore list too.

wct.tmp files may be to do with OneDrive updates

Thanks for your replies.

Just curious, so why on laptop(Win7) these files not shown, but on desktop(Win 10) it does? I am running same version of CCleaner.

Also on same desktop, I never saw this before, maybe older version CCleaner took care of it?

different versions of IE maybe?

or different set of programs that share the use of the same MS libraries.

eg: you see CC list them as Internet Explorer or Inet entries but they could have been made by Office, Skype, OneDrive, Defender or any number of MS products.

or it's simple a difference in the OS's.
