"Chrome needs to be closed"

I just got the updated CCleaner, v5.00. Why does it keep saying that Chrome needs to be closed -- even when I haven't opened it?

The Chrome browser may not be in use but Chrome has some background tasks that may be still running.

In Chrome, Advanced Settings make sure the option to stop background tasks when Chrome closes is set.

Also check Task Manager and see what other Google products are running.

Including any chrome based apps (which are just fancy browser windows with no back forwad button or address bar)
