I signed up for Chrome Cloud Printing, and when it is enabled, it's as if Chrome is running even though it's not open on the desktop. CCleaner then sends an error message warning that Chrome will not be cleaned and you need to close Chrome to enable Chrome cleaning. Disabling the Cloud Printer allows CCleaner to clean Chrome.
Thanks, we'll look into this.
MrT I might be wrong but I think this is more of a Google Cloud Print error and not a CCleaner error
@victor can you confirm that chrome is indeed completely exited? please do the following
- reenable (or reinstall) cloud print
- exit chrome
- try ccleaner and get the error
- open task manager
- go to the processes tab
- arrange the entries Alphabetically
- look for any chrome.exe
