PC registered for cleaner is broken

and cant deregister to change to alternative PC

Just download an installer from here and put CCleaner Free on your new machine: Download CCleaner builds | CCleaner Portable, Slim, and more

Double clck the downloaded file to install CCleaner, open it, and in Settings > My subcription enter your existing licence key to activate it as Pro.

Obviously people do get new machines so itā€™s as simple as that.

As long as you are not using the key long-term on more devices than your subscription is valid for then there is no problem.

It does work, I have swapped CCleaner licence keys between machines many, many, times using exactly that method.
Other users have done the same.

It does not matter if you already have single PC CCleaner licence active on a machine - you can still use the same licence key to activate CCleaner on another machine.
(You just canā€™t use a key long term on more machines than it is valid for).

There is no need to ā€˜deregisterā€™ a CCleaner licence key; in fact there isnā€™t any way that you could ā€˜deregisterā€™ one (other than uninstalling CCleaner).

If it is not letting you activate CCleaner with that key then there must be another reason.

By far the most usual reason for a key not being accepted is that the user is typing it in wrongly.
Double chack that you are not putting ā€œBā€ instead of ā€œ8ā€, or ā€œSā€ instead of ā€œ5ā€ etc.
(Iā€™ve done it myself in the past when I was typing in exactly what I had written down, but I had written it down wrong).

If that isnā€™t showing you a key then is the key you have still valid or has it passed itā€™s expiry date?

What exactly does it say? The wording can indicate what the problem may be.
