CCleaner

CCleaner for Windows

Hi All,

I have just downloaded CCleaner and after selecting analyze it shows that i have 2434 items that require deleting, as you can imagine i am worried about what the action will be to my computer, I am only a novice on computers so Can anyone who has used CCleaner please re assure me that when all items are removed my computer will work after the deleting action.

I take it you are just talking about the general cleaner and not the registry part of the cleaner (issues)

If you have not altered the default settings that were there on install there should be no problems.

Check in options > cookies that any you wish to keep from the delete area are moved to the keep area by highlighting the cookie and clicking the middle arrow.

Then there should be no reason why you would have any problems.

I would leave the registry clean (issues) until you are more comfortable about using the program.
