Are data & files really deleted when "run cleaner" is selected...or, do i still need to shred certain financial documents?
Everything that is in the recycling bin is just deleted the normal way no special deletion but I suggest you get Eraser which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns. You can delete file(s) and or folder(s) by right clicking or you can also securely delete everything in the recycling bin by doing the same thing.
