Does this occur after you double click the icon or does it occur when you are trying to clean? If the second, is it cleaner section or registry section which give the error.
Please tell us the version of ccleaner 3.0
Also if you would please download the Portable Version from http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds and let us know if the same thing happens.
Looks like a standard Windows error dialog after using a disk that's been removed. It's a known bug in Windows XP but I didn't know it went beyond XP, it's rather typical after using floppy disks, and it's aggravating since it plagues tons of software that scans disks, i.e.; disk cleaning software, etc.
I am using version 3.00.1310.
This happens when I double click the CCleaner icon and after the Windows 7 User Account Control pop-up asks me if I want to allow CCleaner to make changes to my computer and I select Yes. This pc does not have and never has had a floppy disk drive. It's a Dell Optiplex 980 running Windows 7. I've been using CCleaner for years and I've never had this happen. It happens only on my work pc, which is on a network. It does not happen on my home pc.
