I love Ccleaner and I hope Piriform keeps it as a free PC cleaner.
Now, my problem is that I can't install CCleaner 3.06.1433 on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit. I recently installed vmWare Workstation 7 on my system so I could play around with Backtrack 5. After this, the already installed CCleaner (same version), stopped working on my PC. I attempted to re-install CCleaner on my PC. It gave me this message: *See Screenshots.16-05-2011 19.34.58 Since then, i have uninstalled vmWare Workstation 7 and I continue to try to reinstall CCleaner and I keep getting the same message.
Note: I downloaded CCleaner from Filehippo.com After I could not get it to install after several attempts, I downloaded it again from Piriforms mains site. Also, I have note been trying to install it from from my browser. I downloaded it onto my PC and closed my browser before attempting to install CCleaner.
How can I install CCleaner on my PC without getting an error message. I also tryed system restore without any luck.
When you try to install look in taskmanager to see if there is an instance of ccleaner already running, I suspect it may as that error message sometimes means the same program is already trying to update.
Make sure that ccleaner is uninstalled from your computer and reboot.
